As part of the development of the Dudley Carers Alliance, we are looking for expressions of interest in the role of Independent Chair.

 

Attached is an overview of the role, including purpose of the role, responsibilities and time commitment. Interested parties can contact Nicola McGregor to discuss the role further  by calling 01384 813757 or email: carers.network@dudley.gov.uk   .

 

We would welcome joint submissions from two individuals who wish to share the role jointly.

Closing date for submission of the expressions of interest Thursday 26th April 2018 (4pm).

ABOUT US

 

Most people in their lifetime are likely to be affected by, or have an experience of caring for someone. The 2011 Census identified some 38,000 carers living across Dudley borough. This figure is however likely to be much higher as many people with caring responsibilities don’t identify themselves as ‘carers’, these people are sometimes referred to as ‘hidden carers’.
